Festival Parade
CAPTAIN COOK 1770 FESTIVAL PARADE
SATURDAY 22 May
The Festival day begins with a colourful street parade of highly decorated floats. The parade starts at 9am at the Seventeen Seventy Marina and winds its way along the foreshores to the parklands near the 1770 Camping Grounds. An invitation is extended to participate in the 1770 Festival Parade. The Captain Cook 1770 Festival is one of the premier events in Queensland and the parade is one of the showcases of the Festival.
The comprehensive TV, radio and print coverage provides an opportunity to show your business and your community support to a wider audience. It's also heaps of fun for you and your staff, plus you can win some great prizes!
This year the parade theme is 'Voyages of Discovery'. So put your thinking caps on and be part of our heritage/ environment and make this year’s parade one to remember.
If you would like to take part please download the forms and submit by the due date.
